Michael Currado
Influenced by an eclectic assortment of interests, including the non-traditional ways of the 70's, the Appalachian, and the Amish traditions, Michael became motivated to work at home. After 3 decades of ceramic tile installation, he took some time to gather himself and the essentials to create a studio.
He works diligently at making intriguing pieces which his wife Melinda slathers with glaze. Intense heat from the kiln changes these dramatically.... a parallel of life bringing forth hidden strengths.
Colorful waterfall effects, which stand out in the backdrop of a thirsty desert are the forte of the moment.
Inspiration has come from the provision of the land; sustenance from creation.
Origins of clay and glaze: the earth.
Enjoy.

AJ Currado
AJ Currado grew up with an artist mother who continued to work professionally and teach while raising four children. AJ adapted well to creative expressions and began her college education with music and fine art studies. Painting and drawing soon became her focus and she graduated with honors from CSU Northridge in 2004.
Since then, AJ has fused her life experience into her visual art in many ways. Her concern over environmental stewardship lead to a series of work using recycled envelopes. Part of this series was chosen for exhibit in a Washington gallery. Her other work has integrated music, martial arts, travel, and a deep love of nature - particularly leaves.
